Main Characters:

Tidus

Tidus is the main character in Final Fantasy X. He has a very cheerful and upbeat personality. He is a star "Blitzball" player for the Zanarkand Abes. After Sin attacks his homeland, Tidus is transported to a place called Spira. Tidus then meets Yuna and her guardians in hopes of finding a way back to his hometown. During his time with Yuna, he grows more fond of her and eventually falls in love with her.

Most famous quote: "Listen to my story. This may be our last chance."

Yuna

Yuna is the other main protagonist in the Final Fantasy X. She is both a kindhearted and serious young woman. She is the daughter of High Summoner Braska. She decides to follow in her father's footseps and decides to become a summoner herself. Although she is very serious, she gradually opens up and falls in love with Tidus.

Most famous quote: "The people and the friends that we have lost, or the dreams that have faded... never forget them"

Auron

In Final Fantasy X, Auron is one of Yuna's guardians and former guardian to Yuna's father, Braska. He has both a quiet yet strong personality. Auron only talks when necessary. But when he talks, it is always something of importance. He is idolized by other guardians throughout Spira for his selflessness and always protecting those who can't protect themselves. Having already experienced a past pilgrimage, Auron knows all about the workings and corruption of Yevon, and does not respect their teachings at all.

Most famous quote: "This is it. This is your story. It all begins here."

Wakka

Wakka is a secondary character and is one of Yuna's guardians. Wakka is very old fashioned, yet he has a very big heart and is always trying to cheer up the other members when they're down. Wakka is a strong follower of Yevon and he greatly depends on the teachings of Yevon to make decisions. Wakka had a younger brother, but died while fighting Sin using an Al Bhed machina weapon. This caused Wakka to hold a more personal grudge against the Al Bhed instead of a religious one.

Most famous quote: "After this tournament... I'm retiring. Win or lose, I'm quitting Blitzball. But you know, since we're here, we might as well win!"

Lulu

Lulu is another playable character and is one of Yuna's closest friends and guardians. Lulu is often stern and scathing, and does not smile very often. However, she is very kindhearted and caring toward others. She is also highly intelligent, and is one of the few followers of Yevon who easily questions the Yevon religion on objective terms.

Most famous quote: "No matter how dark the night, morning always comes, and our journey begins anew.

Kimahri

Kimahri is playable character in Final Fantasy X and is one of Yuna's closest guardians. Kimahri has been guarding Yuna since she was a child. Kimarhri is extremely quiet and will only say something to people he trusts. Like Auron, when Kimahri does speak, it is usually very helpful and insightful advice. Kimarhri is of the "Ronso" tribe. He is not overly accepted by the tribe because of his smaller stature andbroken horn.

Most famous quote: "Yuna needs Kimahri. Kimarhri protect Yuna"

Rikku

Rikku is the last member of the group to become one of Yuna's guardians. Rikku is very lively and kindhearted. Rikku's father is Cid, the leader of the Al Bhed faction, and she has a brother, aptly named Brother. Her mother died before the events of Final Fantasy X, having been killed by a faulty machina. Cid's sister, Rikku's aunt, married High Summoner Braska, Yuna's father, making Rikku and Brother Yuna's biological cousins.

Most famous quote: "Memories are nice, but that's all they are."

Moogle

Moogle is a very important character. It first appeared on Final Fantasy III and have been in the main series game since. In each Final Fantasy series, Moogle has different importances; from being a payable character to a simple cameo. It's appearance changes from game to game, however Moogle can be recognized by its small wings, white or pink fur and a pom pom hanging from it's head.
